Each Professional Certificate and additional module will accumulate 5 CEU or Credits. The total credit units for the MBA will be 60 credits. Students may transfer a maximum of 30 CEU to campus based MBA program in US.
Having completed all the seven professional certificates, you may chose on elective topic or two half electives for advanced specialist study. The ranges of subjects are changing constantly in response to program member's interest, and vary according to the mode of study you choose.
Typical examples of elective subjects currently include Business Finance, Managing Projects, Managing Strategic Information, Strategic Marketing, Total Quality International Management, E-Commerce, Competitive Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Public Service Strategy and Managing Resources in the Public Sector.
There is also a range of topical electives such as e-Commerce and Competitor Intelligence, which will be virtual electives delivered entirely via the web.


Students may specialize by two methods:


• External Examination and Assignments from the Institute of Business Administration in the United Kingdom. Student would be awarded with certificate in professional studies in the respective specialization topic, jointly certified Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators -ICSA.
• Thesis Submission in chosen topic relevant to area of concentration. To be presented in supervision of faculty of local center.
The Integrated Business Strategy Project
Your Business Project will be the culmination of your work on the Trinity MBA program. It requires demonstrating a critical approach to management problems and a capacity to relate specific to broader management literature. The Dissertation allows you to specialize in a subject that is of interest to both you and your organization; producing results with practical uses.
The Integrated Strategy Project consolidates learning in part three of the Program, enabling you to take a holistic view of your organization's strategy. The Project presentation is the centerpiece of the Trinity MBA, and requires you to take a critical approach to general management problem.

1.Marketing Management :

Marketing skills is increasingly important in ensuring success, both in private sector profit-seeking businesses and in public service organizations. Every organization has 'customers' whose needs must be satisfied through the efficient provision of goods and services. This course tries to impart knowledge on marketing planning, marketing organization, developing marketing mix, market segmentation and target marketing performance evaluation and marketing control. The concepts of managing product life cycle, marketing research and social dimensions of marketing will also be highlighted under the purview of this course. This knowledge is applied through case studies designed to help you apply the marketing approach to yourself, your job and your organization.

2.Financial Reporting and Capital Budgeting:

This module covers accounting, managerial economics and decision analysis. Accounting practice and developments in the field of management and financial reporting are fully explained, and this part of the program also focuses on the use of accounting information in the planning, control and decision-making processes. There is a strong emphasis on the application of accounting practices and economics in a managerial context, and this module provides an integrated study of the role of these disciplines in decision-making and organizational management.

This course is designed to provide an insight into major financial decision making areas: ascertaining financial needs, procuring the needed capital, investment of fund, financial analysis and payment of dividend, capital structure and valuation of firm and current theories on financial management.

4. Effective Communication:

It is believed in the business world that a manager or executive's performance is judged by his/her ability to communicate. Good communication skills are necessary in any job, but especially in position that involve interactive with clients and company management. One must be able to clearly, concisely and eloquently convey information and ideas to others. This module is designed to provide you with the essential tools you need to communicate for the purpose of decision making, creating and maintaining links both internally and with the externally business environment. It enables your organization to operate efficiently and effectively meaning performance and service.

Managing people in today's fast moving organizations require an understanding of how to build flexible organizations, create a committed, well qualified workforce who can manage change. The course examines the role of human element in the organization. It deals with ascertaining the needs for human resource, selection of proper employees, placement of employees, training of employees, salary and wage administration, grievance handling, employee service and other relevant issues, It also entails motivation theories, leadership, power and conflicts in an organizational setting arising out of the use of human resource in an enterprise. Future trends and challenges in HRM are also suggested.

The module covers the key areas of strategic decision-making, defining purpose, strategic analysis, changing direction and setting course. This is an integrating course that helps in understanding the interactions among the functional departments of business. Learners are acquainted with the process of formulating objectives, policies and strategies in an enterprise so that the enterprises can compete effectively in the competitive environment to gain competitive advantage and to satisfy the members of the target market. The course highlights various tools of strategic business planning and control. The course will include Case studies both from the local and abroad perspective.

This course aims at developing knowledge of the participants in the effective conduct of project activities. The objectives, importance, requisites and functions of project management will be focused. The course covers project planning details, project formulation and approval procedure and performance analysis & control methods. The behavioral dimensions of project management and the administration of sponsored programs will also be highlighted under the purview of this course.

Business Plan:

After completion of all the 8 modules, all participants will have to prepare a real time business plan. The Business Plan will be the culmination of your work on the Trinity MBA program. It requires you to demonstrate a critical approach to management problems and a capacity to relate specific to broader management literature. The business plan allows you to specialize in a subject that is of interest to both you and your organization; producing results with practical uses.

Who can join the Trinity MBA program

To Join the Trinity MBA program, you would normally need to be aged at least 25 years with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of working experience either as a manager or as an executive. These criteria are designed to maintain a consistently high standard in program participation. If you are unable to meet them however, yet have compelling grounds for admission to the MBA program - perhaps because of your experience or record of success - you are nevertheless encouraged to apply. In these circumstances your application will be judged on its merits and on a case-to-case basis.

Application would also be asked for the following:

* Relevant academic or business references to support your application
* Evidence of fluency in the English language
* An essay explaining the impact the MBA will have on your life.

Exemption:

If you wish to transfer from a similar program at a recognized university or business school, you may be granted subject-for-subject exemptions (Certain restrictions apply). In this case you should submit supporting explanatory documents with your application forms.

How you are assessed

The approach to MBA assessment echoes that of the program itself demanding but relevant. The Trinity MBA tests understanding through practical application. In part three each subject has an assignment, which tests your ability to apply the concepts you have learned to a real situation. In most cases, this can be your own organization, or one with which you are familiar.
Learning from the course can be applied directly to the workplace, ensuring a direct relevance for program members and employers alike. Assignments are intended primarily as aids to learning, while examinations are designed to test your knowledge and ability in each part of the program.
Projects and assignments provide the stimulus to review learning and revise subject matter. Not only that they represent important milestones in the learning process, providing an objective test of your ability to meet the standards of the MBA.
Each assessment consists of one or more case studies relating to an organization, requiring you to bring your learning to bear on the organization's problems. Assessment is not only based on the coherence of your answers, but also on the creativity and practicality of your recommendations.

MBA Program Delivery


The TRINITY Master of Business Administration degree incorporates seven Professional Certificates that students can earn on the way achieving their Master's degree. This unique MBA degree program enables students to earn resume-building certificates without taking additional classes or incurring additional tuition expenses.
The Trinity MBA is delivered internationally thru a range of study modes, namely center based, professional seminars, flexible distance learning and online. With a range of international centers combinations of delivery modes may be used by specific centers.

Center Based Delivery
Faculty delivers lectures during weekend evening sessions 2-3 times a week. Each module is delivered in one-month blocks and registration is available on a module basis for each professional certificate. Over a 12-15 month period the entire MBA would be completed and seven professional certificates would be accumulated.
Flexible Distance Learning and Online
Trinity MBA offers the Module Object Oriented Delivery Learning Environment (MOODLE) integrating material and faculty may be accessed through an Internet connection and PC, anywhere in the world.
Traditional Distance Learning is also offered in collaboration with local centers with CD-ROM based lecture material and courier delivered class notes. This mode is available to remote geographic locations where a local center is not accessible.
Professional Seminars and Workshop Delivery
This mode of study incorporates attendance at 2-3 day long block format seminars and workshops conducted over 15 month, currently this mode is available only in Malaysia and South Africa

Professional Graduate Diploma in Information Systems
First year certificate:

The certificate is considered equivalent to the first year of Higher National Diploma and university. This course is aimed at students with some knowledge or practical experience in information technology.
Three modules:
• Information system.
• Software development.
• Technology.
Two hour final examination will be held in each of the modules.
Second year diploma:
The diploma will be examined at an academic level equivalent to a higher national diploma. This course is aimed at students that have obtained the certificate.

Bachelor of Business Administration – Professional Degree Completion
Program Objectives

Students will have a background in business including management, communication, finance, economics, organizational behavior, law, administration and marketing. Students will be able to seek employment in a variety of businesses, organizations and government settings or seek advancement in their current employment. Students who graduate from the Business Administration Program are equipped with knowledge of business theories, policies, and procedures and are prepared to take a responsible position within the world of business. The program refines a student's commitment to personal values and moral excellence as well as professional competence. The principal objective of in Business Administration is to prepare students for a wide range of managerial positions in business and government or other public service organizations. The curriculum is designed to give students a firm foundation in liberal arts as well as the practical and theoretical aspects of business related principles. Curriculum will focus on domestic, international sales, lease contracts, negotiable instruments, credit, bankruptcy, employment, labor law and government regulations. Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Technology Professional Degree Completion
Program Objectives

This program will prepare students with the technical foundations for understanding management information systems and their emerging strategic role in the organization change process. Students will be exposed to basic data communications and networking concepts. This program will assist students to gain an in-depth understanding of information systems from a business perspective and its relationship with E-Business and E-Commerce applications. The program provides students with a real-world understanding of information systems (IS). The pervasiveness of Information Systems makes understanding them an essential element of success in virtually any business position. All aspects of information systems and their use are covered, from underlying technologies, corporate organization and management. This includes decision-making, planning, acquiring and controlling information systems. The curriculum strikes just the right balance between technical information and actual applications. Emphasis is placed on reality over theory, state-of-the-art technologies and concepts, including why Information Systems are important to the students. The purpose of this program is to give a complete understanding of the what, why and how of information systems in today’s business world. Students are also presented with an understandable, integrated view of the many concepts, skills, tool and techniques involved in information systems. This will provide students with a solid framework and context for managing information systems projects. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to differentiate data, information and knowledge. Students will be able to explain how the various business functional areas use Information Systems and their interdependencies, how managers use information and the business decision-making process.
